RESEARCH
"Everybody offers a darkly comedic twist on a tale about the meaning of life, death, and all that lies between. In the play, Death summons a character called “Everybody,” telling them it is their time to meet their inevitable fate and give an account of their life. Everybody asks a crowd of metaphorical friends, including emblematic figures of Friendship, Kinship, and Stuff, to join them on their journey. While it is a trip we all have to make, Everybody learns that volunteers are few and far between."
Early on in this production, I began to look closer at the themes of life, death, purgatory, and Godliness. This is clear in the research I did to prepare for this production.

RENDERINGS
There were a few moments in the script that I wanted to workshop while in the preproduction process. These renderings were based on early scenic renderings and were developed using a combination of Vectorworks, Procreate and Vision.
This specific moment in the show has the lead character in the center of the stage while voices (that may just be a delusion) surround her, echoing the same lines.

And sometimes you just have to try it for yourself
